1984 Jeep CJ-7 Renegade ➜ We are almost done with this pretty little CJ. We bought it last year because the sheet metal & frame are in very good condition plus the Jeep has an overhauled Jasper engine with less than 3000 miles, according to the seller. Once in the shop we exchanged the valve cover to an aluminum cover and verified that the engine indeed has been freshly overhauled. The majority of our work was underneath the Jeep. We attended to every moving part, including steering linkage, draglink, sway bar links, hubs, all new brakes. The Jeep looks as nice underneath as it now looks from the outside. We are now down to installing fresh interior, the hardtop needs to be refurbished, a new front bumper installed and a few housekeeping things. Status July 10th, 2024
